Diana--you inspire me to celebrate the things we DO--that sounds energizing!

Thanks for reminding me to remember"self-care", i.e. care of self! hmmmm... Though it may have been nothing on my to do list; I love to celebrate the things I did do, sometimes survived, on a celebrate list, post it to the fridge in the evening and look at it with a smile the next day.

So true!!! Can I steal this line??? "You know that saying, “If mama ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy?” Well, it’s true. I’d also add, “If mama don’t take care of herself, there ain’t no ’self’ to take care of anybody or anything else.’” I have used that first part, but not the second and it is a great addition to make the point. Enjoyed yet another article from you!
